Scomac is also ideally placed to offer any remedial works that have been identified during the regular maintenance programme.
What we can do for you
Customer satisfaction is very important to Scomac and we can offer a Maintenance Service Package that will save you time and money through PPM – Planned Preventative Maintenance – a planned maintenance of plant and equipment resulting in prolonging equipment life and avoiding unplanned maintenance activity. This includes painting, lubrication, cleaning, adjusting and minor component replacement as well as remote monitoring and logging of the building services. In its simplest form PPM can be compared to the service schedule for a car.
- Reduce Costs by increasing life expectancy of assets by eliminating premature replacement of machinery and equipment by means of a tailor-made PPM schedule
- Timely, routine repairs can reduce the need for large-scale repairs, minimise energy consumption (5% less) and improve safety and reliability
A bona fide preventative maintenance schedule should include:
- Periodic Testing
- Pre-planned Maintenance Activities
- Non-destructive Testing
- Maintenance to correct deficiencies found through testing or inspection
Additional to the above we can also provide:
- Life-cycle and Asset Management System
- Emergency Call-out Provision
- Consultancy and Dilapidation Reports of Mechanical and Electrical Services
- Fault-finding across both mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Consultation and Design of Small Works Projects
Preventative maintenance needs to be carefully planned and carried out by qualified and diligent engineers and Scomac prides itself on the calibre of our skilled, knowledgeable, experienced Team of Engineers.
Where do we come in?
A quality preventative maintenance schedule is specific to you, your business needs and achievement of customer satisfaction. Our Technical Team will carry out a full and thorough inspection of all plant and equipment, providing a detailed report on findings and a summary of works required to bring all equipment to the level of original design intent (if required). We will then design, with your lead, a pre-planned Maintenance Programme to ensure Industry Standards are met and best practices are in place.
The key to a successful preventative maintenance schedule is the programming and execution. We will provide you with a detailed and summarised schedule that is built around your business needs/timings and is monitored closely by our Management Team. We will provide you with periodic reports on progress and completion in line with the schedule, including service sheets and any further information that you would require.
A quality preventative maintenance schedule requires a team of highly motivated, knowledgeable Engineers. We will provide you with your own designated engineers who are fully trained to industry standards and certified where required to carry out procedures for your specific equipment. In line with advances in technology our Engineers are constantly updated and trained to ensure that their skills do not become dated.
